NAD+

The fountain of youth in a bottle

What is NAD+

(Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)

NAD+ is a critical coenzyme found in every cell in our bodies, but these levels decrease with age.

Imagine your body is like a car and NAD+ is the premium fuel it needs to run smoothly. Without enough NAD+ your engine struggles, but with the right levels you’re firing on all cylinders!

87% of people noticed an improvement in energy with consistent use. 79% reported an improvement to their moods, while 78% reported better memory and focus.

What can NAD+ do?

-repair DNA & prevent gene mutations

-improve immunity

-energy production (ATP production and mitochondria health)

-stress resistance by reduction of oxidative stress

-metabolic balance & weight management

-anti-inflammatory response (inflammation is responsible for illness & cancers)

-increase muscle strength

-improve cognitive function

-can reduce and reverse aging

-support methylation pathways

Decreased NAD+ leads to faster cellular aging, depression, sleep disturbances and cognitive decline.

What are side effects of NAD+?

NAD+ should be titrated in small doses but sometimes the detox effects can look like:

-nausea

-upset stomach

-heart racing

-dizziness (rare)

-muscle tightness

-pain, swelling, bruising at injection site

-flushing/warmth

Who shouldn’t use NAD+?

Those with personal history of cancer, current cancer or high risk of cancer should not use NAD+. NAD+ can act as fuel to cancer cells because of it’s response on cellular energy.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women due to it’s lack of study in this population.

Use caution if taking blood pressure reducing medications, blood thinners, antidepressants or diabetic drugs and those with kidney or liver failure.
